well that wasnt what i expected

he responded. it was acceptable...

but now we're in this weird space. do we pursue this? do we just stay friends? do we write it all off as a good try, but never talk to each other again? this is why i hate dating. or even "making new friends". i have all the friends i could possibly need. they're awesome, and im reminded everyday why i keep them. boys on the other hand... i dont even know. i called it a non-date for a reason. "date" puts too much pressure on things that could stand to be less complicated. now it's all fucked up

ugh i should just get a dog and call it a day

I think it should be obvious when things are a game...like, someone should hand you a pair of dice, or something. And someone should tell you when it's your turn. And read the rules beforehand.

I wish dating/interacting were this simple or black and white. Interestingly, we spend a lot of time in the grey, yellow, green, blue, every other color except black or white areas. Lol.

I'm still wondering what was his explanation. Sounds like he just shut down or ran away...

well, i kinda shooed him away... he was still getting over his ex and being extra cautious bc of past situations. so i opted not to take advantage of a broken man :p
