feeling the love

even with sunday's mope session, 2010 (twenty ten :p) is starting off on a good foot. two wonderful bloggers awarded me with this pretty little thing

interesting things:
- i drive a teal corolla. in some lighting it looks blue, others it's green. this one quality + my awesome driving skills has enabled me to avoid two speeding tickets in the almost 10 years i've been driving... i guess it goes without saying that i have a small speeding problem. it's (mostly) under control

- i'm a chapstick junkie; i don't go anywhere without one. one of the reasons i use it so often is because i bite my lips. it's an old nervous habit that i've never really been able to break

- speaking of nervous, when i was little i used to put my hand in my mom's pocket when we were out. i wasn't much of a hand holder, even though i was a very shy child. somehow that has become a love for anything with pockets. maybe i was a kangaroo in a previous life

- i have a fear of ladders, escalators and elevators. i do not have a fear of heights, flying or driving over the bay bridge

- i'm finding it very hard to make this list. there are days i'm convinced that i'm not interesting because i'm so "normal"

- i enjoy breakfast any time of the day. it's one of the reasons i love diners (non-chains and bob evans). i make it a point to go to a diner everywhere that i visit

-my favorite form of entertainment is music. i love a wide spectrum of genres (excluding jazz) for different reasons. it's almost guaranteed that i can fit a song from my ridiculous itunes collection to my moods. i'm also a little susceptible to mood adjustments by music (i should make an "im pmsing and must stay happy" mix...)
